"The Friends of Hermon Dog Park exist to enhance the Hermon Dog Park, keep its environment safe and healthy, teach responsible pet ownership and further humane education, encourage dog training efforts, organize pet adoption events, and help other organizations that provide for the care of animals."
You can help if you know of any stray cats or colonies by letting F.A.S.T. know the location in Northeast LA. They will visit the site as soon as possible, and then, with the property owner's permission, will trap, neuter, and return the animals to their original colonies, and help set up a long-term feeding program. They also pay for the medical expenses for sick animals prior to returning them and provide free food when available. In its first 3 months of operation, F.A.S.T trapped, neutered and returned 91 cats. Check the current statistics.
F.A.S.T. Co-founder Mark Legassie is a member off the FHDP Advisory Board and will help coordinate our partnership with F.A.S.T. For more information, visit the F.A.S.T. website: www.fasttrappers.org |
